Attendees do not need to bring anything with them but, if possible, they should familiarise themselves with their emergency procedures and /or fire risk assessment.

This is not essential as these topics will be discussed on the day, however it may be useful should they wish to ask us any questions or require clarification on any matter specific to their place of work.

Please note that Practical Firefighting is not carried out at our Barbican Venue.

  • How to search safely and recognise areas that are unsafe to enter

  • Identifying Zones and effective methods of their evacuation
  • Fire Alarm operation
  • Formulating emergency action plans
